Poison oak grows wild all over Santa Cruz County. I do most of my clearing in the San Lorenzo Valley, Scotts Valley, and Saratoga. I will travel if needed. Below I inserted a video where I discuss some common misconceptions about poison oak and I show the plant taking various forms. Check out my blog post about the pros and cons of herbicide and some plant-based alternatives to Roundup.

Poison Oak turns red in the fall before it loses its leaves.
